Sales Tax Rate Change

Effective July 1, 2011, the combined statewide sales and use tax rate will decrease from 8.25 percent to 7.25 percent.  The temporary one percent tax increase implemented in April 2009 expires on June 30, 2011.  For a complete listing of City and County tax rates, go to: http://www.boe.ca.gov/sutax/pdf/Pending_Rates-07-11.pdf
