John Gibbons is one of four partners in Hayashi & Wayland’s Audit Practice and is the designated partner for the Firm’s AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center affiliation. His areas of expertise include auditing, tax and consulting services to the agriculture industry, tax and consulting services to closely held businesses and business owners, and audits of Employee Benefit Plans.
Mr. Gibbons holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Fresno and has been a member of the Hayashi and Wayland team since 1982. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Active in his community, he currently serves as the Treasurer of Monterey County Youth Museum and is a past Treasurer of Ag Against Hunger.
